Amanda Barnett

Amanda received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine. After college, she joined GEI Consultants, Inc. as a staff engineer. She performs hydrologic and hydraulic data compilation and analyses for water retaining structures in the riverine and coastal setting such as dams, weirs, bridges and culverts. Recently, she began focusing on dam safety risk analyses. She performs hydrologic hazard curve analyses, consequences analyses and developing risk prioritization matrices to support SQRA/L2RA procedures. Aside from engineering she is also involved in the DE+I Committee at GEI, where she focuses on creating education and engagement opportunities for staff across the company.
