Chad is a hydraulic structures engineer and technical advisor with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Risk Management Center. His 18 years of experience has been primarily focused on dam engineering, hydraulic analyses and design, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for projects located in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, Eritrea, Panama, and the USA . This experience includes CFD modeling, risk characterization, construction, inspection, rehabilitation, and all stages of design for more than 150 dams up to 300 feet high as well as the design and assessment of large, innovative, and high-capacity spillways and appurtenant hydraulic structures for flow rates up to 1,150,000 cfs.
