Hydrometrics
Karl Kingery is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Montana, California, Colorado, Texas, Louisiana and South Dakota. Mr. Kingery has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and has been working in the Civil Engineering field since 2008. He is also a registered Certified Floodplain Manager. Mr. Kingery works for Hydrometrics, Inc., a private engineering and sciences consulting firm based in Helena, Montana. His project experience includes civil and structural design of water resource projects, construction oversight, project management, preparation of plans and specifications, hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, expert witness work, hydrogeologic and materials testing, sediment transport assessments, dam inspections, and floodplain risk assessments and associated permitting. Mr. Kingery has been involved with low-head dam identification, assessments, signage design, and rehabilitation projects since 2015. He is a member of the ASDSO Safety Around Dams Committee and is the Subcommittee Chair for the Data Management Subcommittee of the National Low Head Dam Inventory Task Force.
