Douglas Roy, P.E. is a Principal and Operation Officer in the New York City office of GZA GeoEnvironmental Inc. Currently a registered Professional Engineer in 3 states, Mr. Roy holds a BS in Civil Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a MS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical focus) from Polytechnic Institute of the New York University.
As a practicing geotechnical engineer, he has spent much of his 30 plus year career in the planning, design, and measurement of soil, rock deformation and abutting structures.
He has lectured and published on the topic of geotechnical instrumentation and urban construction practice both in the US and abroad.
