Ahintha is the Assitant Vice President of Water Resources in the NYC water group. He translates project goals into modeling tasks that derive the required data and craft designs that meet project needs, align with client objectives, and meet project scope, budget, and schedule commitments. His expertise range in water resources related to surface hydraulics and hydrology modeling, task leads for coastal engineering, dam safety, storm and sewer pipe networks, and advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling. He has about 19 years of post-gratuate experience in water resources engineering & consultancy working as modeling lead, task leads for projects with FEMA, USACE, Statewide Dam Safety,(DEC- NY NJ, Dept. Of Environmental Protection (DEP), NY, NJ, CT and many more federal and state level agencies.
