Chris Harris

Chris has been with the Colorado River Board of California since August 2000, and has served as its executive director since 2017. The Board is involved in the major programs and activities associated with protecting and managing California’s rights and interests in its Colorado River water and hydropower supplies. Programs the Board is currently working on include: Colorado River annual operations, water use accounting, drought and climate change contingency planning, environmental resources management, binational negotiations and discussions with Mexico, and continued involvement in Basin States discussions and negotiations.
